Sue Beyer

Sue Beyer’s art practice moves fluidly between digital / electronic technologies and traditional painting on canvas, challenging the conventional notion of conceptual art. Her striking pixelated compositions, rich in color and complexity, serve as visual dialogues that engage with early generation computers, microprocessors and programming while contemplating profound existential themes. Large in scale and bold in execution, Beyer’s works are layered in meaning, offering both immediate aesthetic appeal and deeper intellectual engagement.

Sue Beyer’s practice has been highlighted in exhibitions in the USA, Poland, Latvia, and Brazil, along with an extensive presence within Australia. She is currently undertaking a twelve month residency in USA, offering the opportunity to further expand her practice on a global stage.
