Congratulations went to Andrew Seward for being shortlisted for the 2009 Dobell Drawing Prize at the Art Gallery of NSW.
The Armoured Forest, an installation of ancient trees, antler-nests and hooded cloaks by Simone Eisler was launched in Brisbane in November as part of the ARC Bienial.
An article on Paula do Prado‘s practice featured in the February issue of Textile Fibre Forum. In addition to this, Paula was awarded the TAFTA (The Australian Forum for Textile Arts) award in December.
