Kate Nielsen

Kate Nielsen is an award-winning artist who explores place and meaning through lively renderings of interior spaces and table settings. Nielsen's colour-saturated table arrangements give way to glimpses of landscape through open portals creating engaging and dynamic compositions. Her works capture elements of the modernist approach to still life, yet are firmly grounded in contemporary practice. She holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts, Painting from the National Art School, and paints from her studio in Sydney.
