We are thrilled that Christopher Pease has been selected for inclusion in the 24th Biennale of Sydney which takes place across numerous venues across Sydney.
Pease will present a new work for the Biennale which will be exhibited at the National Art School. The exhibition works across time periods, beyond borders separating cultural practices, and from all continents and has been curated by Cosmin Costinaș and Inti Guerrero.
Major works by Pease are held in significant collections around Australia including the National Gallery of Australia, National Gallery of Victoria, Art Gallery of Western Australia among others. His accolades include winning the 19th National Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Art Award and completing a major commission for the Art Gallery of Western Australia (pictured above) in 2021.
