Featuring new works by Ema Shin, Valerie Sparks, Tim Allen, Junko Go, Sue Lovegrove, Kate Ballis, Neville French and Eva Fernandez our booth presentation will create a thoughtful dialogue between textiles, photography and ceramics, exploring materiality, memory and transformation through both wall-based works and sculptural forms.

Artists will explore historical visual languages within a contemporary framework, drawing on references such as 17th century Korean ceramics, 18th century English Jasperware, the work of 18th century French cartographer Beautemps-Beaupre, 19th century Victorian-era portrait photography and centuries-old familial records.

A small selection of Ema Shin's intricately constructed textile hearts will be exhibited alongside a luminous porcelain vessel by Neville French that responds subtly to light and atmosphere. We will also feature new media works by Kate Ballis, influenced by the refined colour palette of Jasperware, and Eva Fernandez's intimate, hand-embroidered vintage postcards. Anchoring the presentation is a striking new digital image by Valerie Sparks (pictured above), whose extraordinary CT scans of geological forms reveal hidden landscapes of remarkable beauty.
