Without memory who are we? Our minds contain fragments of memory, dreamlike images of the past, glimpses, sensations, fears and feelings.

“These works are influenced by my collection of domestic objects I have collected over my life, crockery ornaments, toys, knickknacks, mementos or souvenirs of a day, an experience, a period of time. They capture memories that can either disturb or comfort, these feelings are familiar but are from another time, the past revisiting the present. It is though through these objects I am attempting to gain awareness of who I am and where I came from.” -Lynda Draper
