Fugitive Geometries | Claire Mooney
January 23 - March 7
23 January – 7 March, 2020
Fugitive Geometries explores the patterns of interference and the idea of the fragment, using iterative strategies to interweave organic and geometric structures.
The repetitive processes allow Mooney to respond to the tensions that arise between accidental forms and shapes, between liminal edges and broken patterns, using natural patterns from the landscape as both a starting point and counterpoint to geometry.
