From the series, Naked Landscapes of Victoria, TextaQueen positions her female subjects as figures which played a key role in historical events to redress the gender imbalance in Australia’s documented history.  In this work, Poss plays a mono-browed octopus who inhabits the waters of Cheviot Beach. While cradling a skull and a necklace bearing insignia HH, she references Australian Prime Minister, Harold Holt, who went missing while swimming here in heavy surf in 1967.
