Artist: Larissa Warren
Medium: porcelain, locally sourced stoneware clay, ceramic stains, copper lustre, fired in reduction
Dimensions: 30cm h x 12cm diameter
Price: $ 1,500 SOLD
Particulars: The diameter is indicating the widest point of the vessel. Due to the experimental nature of combining local and commercial clays and the extreme firing conditions they have experienced, this vessel is not suitable for functional purposes, serving as decorative only. Fired to vitrification at 1280 °C, many Tamborine Mountain dark stoneware clays are still porous and may, over periods of time, slowly allow liquids to seep through.
